Scripture for Reflection and Preparation

Proverbs 8:12

12 “I wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge and discretion.”

Philippians 3:8

⁸ Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,”

Preparation

• Praise God for who He is
• Confess your sinfulness and need for cleansing
• Allow His Spirit to draw you near
• Listen as He speaks to you

Petition (ask God to…)

·        Grant me knowledge from God

·        Help me call all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus

·        Empower me for 40 intense hours of continuous prayer leading up to our national presidential election

·        Prepare me for our upcoming Associational Revival scheduled to begin Sunday evening, November 2, 2008, 7pm @North Main Baptist Church
